It’s essential to understand that CRIE is not the official migration authority. We strictly adhere to the regulations and timelines set by the Costa Rican government for immigration and foreign affairs. As such, CRIE cannot expedite, demand, or request specific outcomes for any application. Every application undergoes a thorough review process, where designated officials assess its merits and determine the applicant’s eligibility for residency.
Our primary role at CRIE, beyond the services we offer, is to guide our clients through the immigration process. Many individuals are unfamiliar with the intricacies of Costa Rican documentation requirements. While we provide guidance, the onus is on the client to furnish CRIE with all the necessary documents to proceed with their immigration application.
Once we receive the required documentation from a client, we meticulously compile the application. We then submit the complete set of documents to the relevant government agency, specifically the Department of Migration and Foreign Affairs. Our team remains proactive, regularly checking the status of applications to ensure timely updates.
A successful residency application largely hinges on the comprehensive and accurate submission of all required documents.
