That way, you can process your residency quickly and enjoy your stay in Costa Rica. It also helps if the representative is friendly, personable, and relatable, so you can engage with questions and have the answers delivered in a prompt manner.

The fee structure should be based on results, not on the time it takes to push through your application. This is because a typical application process takes seven to ten months, mostly because immigration is bureaucratic and understaffed, given the demand. However, the wait will be worth it when you get a representative who knows the process and can deal with or even avoid complications so that you can start your residency in Costa Rica.
